QWO Ranked 18th for the "100 Best Nonprofits to Work For In Oregon"
Out of Oregon’s 25,000+ Nonprofit organizations, Quiet Waters Outreach ranked 18th best in the Small Non-Profit Category, 25th best out of all of the participating Non-Profits, and Awarded 3rd for the Best Work Environment in the Oregon BusinessMagazine’s “100 Best Nonprofits to Work for In Oregon” list!
QWO Recognizing that nonprofits are key businesses critical to the economic health of the state, Oregon Business Magazinelaunched this year its first annual 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon project. Based on its widely recognized 100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon project, the 100 Best Nonprofits comprised of an anonymous employee survey and an independent assessment of the nonprofit employers' workplace practices. This survey then is used to rank the nonprofits and also give them useful and credible information to help improve their workplace practices.
This survey was open to any of Oregon’s not-for-profit government agencies, associations, hospitals and health plans, credit unions, and 501(c)-type organizations with a minimum of 10 permanent paid, full- or part-time, Oregon-based employees. Results were based on employee surveys measuring satisfaction and importance of 60 workplace qualities in six categories: benefits and compensation; work environment; decision-making and trust; performance management; career development and learning; and sustainable practices. The surveys are designed and reviewed by independent, objective third-party research firm Davis, Hibbitts & Midghall, Oregon Business’ research partner, to score and rank the winning 100 nonprofits.
This is just another example of God’s blessing on this organization and the impact QWO is having on those we serve, as well as, our incredible QWO team. This award is the result of our unique team members that have worked hard to create a work environment that is focused on passionately serving the Lord through serving others, balancing work and family, being wise steward of his resources, and encouraging each other to reach their full potential.
