Fishing excursions, the Oregon State Fair, farms, pumpkin patches, and more. These are all activities our Martha's Place guests participate in during their weekend stays. Would you like to help make these events more fun for our guests? We would love to have a group of volunteers we could periodically call on to help our staff with these outings. If you are interested, please contact us for more information.
Treasure Night Volunteers
Treasure Nights are a once-a-month activity night that consists of songs, Biblical messages, prayer, games, crafts, and refreshments. This a safe and wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to become involved in reaching out to people with developmental disabilities.
Examples of volunteer activities include: providing refreshments, providing transportation, leading the singing, leading a prayer, presenting a message (materials are provided), facilitating games or a crafts, setting up and cleaning up the room.
