QWO Receives $500
Grant From PGE
Employee Foundation!
 

In July, Quiet Waters Outreach was awarded a $500 grant from Portland General Electric in honor a retired employee, Elroy Schindler, who has volunteered with QWO for almost a decade.  Mr. Schindler and his wife, Greta have devoted hundreds of hours participating in our Treasure Night program by transporting people with Developmental Disabilities, helping with the different aspects of the program, and even decorating a room at Martha's Place.  We are honored to have such a neat couple involved in this organization and are thankful we have the opportunity to serve together.  This grant is the most recent of five similar awards over the last five years.
